RGIS COUNT-Athlon 2024: Our UK and Ireland country champion
RGIS is proud to host the first-ever global COUNT-Athlon, a global competition that challenges our most skilled and efficient RGIS auditors. This thrilling event unites participants from around the world, celebrating precision, expertise, and teamwork at the highest level.
The COUNT-Athlon puts competitors to the test in speed, accuracy, and dexterity—and even features our unique spin on Supermarket Sweep! Regional heats are being held across every participating country, building excitement as we approach the grand finale in Paris on 12th December 2024.
Following intense competition from our own regional heats and final, we are thrilled to announce our COUNT-Athlon 2024 UK and Ireland Champion is Swalih Nasir from Cardiff! Swalih demonstrated exceptional consistency and skill, staying in the top three throughout the evening and securing victory in a dramatic finish.
The competition for second place was just as fierce. Daniel Buckley from Manchester and Lewis Abraham from Norwich, each earning a well-deserved spot on the podium. A special mention goes to Alexandru Macesanu from Ireland, who put in a fantastic effort to finish just outside the top three.
We also recognise the other UK and Ireland finalists for their outstanding achievements: Yusuf Anjari from London West, Richard Johnston from Cannock, Thomas Booth from Sheffield, and Lucian Patrascu from Ireland. Each competitor demonstrated incredible dedication and skill in reaching the final stages.
A heartfelt congratulations to all our finalists and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s UK and Ireland COUNT-Athlon. From organisers to supporters and participants, your efforts have made this event a true celebration of excellence and teamwork. Our attention now shifts to Paris, where Swalih will proudly represent the UK and Ireland on the global stage at the COUNT-Athlon Final. We would all like to wish him the very best of luck as he competes for international glory!
