Vehicle Compliance Audit
A French bank specialising in automotive financings and services for the customers and dealership networks for a worldwide vehicle manufacturer, required the support of RGIS. The organisation helps individuals and businesses to buy, hire or lease new and used vehicles from car partners.
REQUIREMENT
The automotive finance company needed a solution to audit vehicle compliance within dealerships, so required RGIS to provide the following:
- National coverage to complete all vehicle audits
- Dealerships were situated in 24 different cities
- At each dealership check that the cars financed by automotive finance company are in the correct location and in good condition to be sold
SOLUTION
The automotive finance company partnered with RGIS to complete the vehicle compliance audit project, and RGIS provided the following:
- The compliance auditory process included:
- Counting cars
- Review of the general condition of each car
- The inspection of support documentation
- Scheduled a team of five experienced RGIS auditors
- Completed each audit from check lists provided by the customer
- Worked closely with staff at each of the dealerships
RESULTS
The automotive finance company found by outsourcing the vehicle compliance audit project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
- The customer now had thorough details of all the cars that were financed by them within each of the dealerships
- Due to the high accuracy levels provided by RGIS, the customer decided to have these vehicle audits bi-annually
- Variances were identified which the customer was made aware of, for example the differences in condition, location and supporting materials of the vehicles
