REQUIREMENT
The hair and beauty product distributor wanted to confirm that the stock information in the central warehouse was accurate and reliable, so required RGIS to provide the following:
- A wall-to-wall count within the central warehouse
- Reports to be provided in real-time
- Variance checks to be completed
- Scan both product barcode and customer location barcode shown on shelving within the warehouse
- Warehouse count to be completed within one day
SOLUTION
The hair and beauty product distributor partnered with RGIS to complete the wall-to-wall central warehouse count project and provided the following:
- Scheduled a team of eight experienced RGIS auditors familiar with warehouse environments
- Count was completed in five hours
- Variance reporting was completed
- An output file showing quantities and associated customer location
