Discount Supermarket Chain Store Resets
A global discount supermarket chain, that operates over 10,000 stores across Europe and the United States required the support of RGIS. REQUIREMENT
The discount supermarket chain needed support with store resets rather than using the existing internal staff, so required RGIS to provide the following:
- To complete store resets during opening hours without causing disruption to business, staff or customers
- Compliance set by planogram provided by head office
- Move stock to new locations
SOLUTION
The discount supermarket chain partnered with RGIS to complete the store reset project, and provided the following:
- Scheduled teams of four experienced RGIS auditors per store
- Identified stock groups that needed to be moved
- Removed stock and price cards from shelves that were being moved
- Used planogram provided to relocate stock to a new location in-store
- Replaced stock on shelves with price cards in the new correct location
RESULTS
The discount supermarket chain found that by outsourcing the complete the store reset project to RGIS, the following was achieved:
- All resets were completed in one day per store
- All resets conducted during opening hours without disruption to business, staff or customers
- In-store staff could continue with daily duties
- Store compliance was completed across the store estate
